Celebrate Independence Day At the Fairgrounds

Fireworks, Music, and Fun Zone!
Gates open at 5:00 PM
PETS ALLOWED - FREE PARKING
Bring the whole family to celebrate during Independence weekend at the fairgrounds.
This Charity Festival will have a Kid Zone with inflatables, Mechanical Bulls, and more! Hang out and enjoy Live Music until 9:00 PM with beer sale from Browns’ Distributing and a variety of food truck options all day. Then dance the night away with at the Block Party after fireworks w/ DJ until 1:00 AM!
THIS CHARITY FESTIVAL IS A FOOD BANK DRIVE
HELP US REACH OUR GOAL OF 1,000 POUNDS OF DONATED FOOD COLLECTED!
Visitors “hungry to help” can bring non-perishable items for the food bank drive and be entered in a raffle for a chance to win prizes! Alternate food donation drop off is at Powhatan Sherrif office, in the back.
General Admission:
$5 PER PERSON UNTIL 9:00 PM – $10 AFTER DARK

5:00 – 9:00 PM: FUN Zone Family Friendly Activities
5:00 – 9:00 PM: Show Cars & Bikes Cruz-N-For-A-Cause Food Drive
7:00 – 7:30 PM: Belly Dancers
5:30 – 8:30 PM: The Eclectics
9:00 – Fireworks Display (approx)
9:15 – until Midnight Block party w/DJ
Food and Fun
A variety of popular mobile food trucks and street vendors will feature their prime eats… buy a taste or buy a meal!
Among your choices? BBQ, chicken wings, hot dogs, soul food, seafood—even veggie options. Also, shoppers will be tempted by vendors displaying jewelry, arts and crafts and other kinds of merchandise.
Everyone is welcome….bring your kids, your friends, a lawn blanket and enjoy the good music, food and fun!
Look to the sky for a firework show starting at 9:00 PM!

This event is rain or shine. TENTS ARE ALLOWED!
No outside food or alcohol. There will be food trucks and alcohol for
purchase from a variety of vendors.
Viewing Spots for Fireworks
Prevent hazards and unsafe situations. You may not pull-over on major roads or park in
non-designated areas during the show.
Parking
Free parking onsite at the Fairgrounds all day. Parking on property across from the
fairground is prohibited.
What if it rains?
If it is safe to have the show, it will happen.
TENTS ARE ALLOWED!
In the event of severe weather, the show may be cancelled or postponed to later in
the evening.
